The Biggest Loser

Last night was the season premier of The Biggest Loser, I love that show, I find it very inspiring. So yesterday morning I weighed myself and decided that I am going to make more of an effort to get healthy, I have never had success with dieting, I have no will power and I find it difficult to eat at normal times. I won't share how much my weight was but oh man I really need to do something here, yesterday went pretty good and I am going to keep at it. Anyone else doing the same thing?

A really good exercise DVD is Jillian Michael's 30 day shred. It only requires 30 minutes a day, and you do it at home.

As far as dieting goes, you can probably see from my blog that I don't make food that's healthy!!

The best advice I can give is to choose a "diet" that's more of a change in lifestyle. Not something like only drinking grapefruit juice for 30 days because everything you lose, you will gain back

You CAN do it, when I heal we will head back to Campbell Valley for some walks, it is not about just the eating, if you walk and get the fresh air, you will have more energy to be the mom you want to be~ the extra patience, less headaches, self confidence...just being healthy! do not look at the lb #...only numbers...you need to be healthy for you and your family and you deserve it! when you exercise, chances are you will not eat at late times or the wrong the foods, it is a life style change all round! I need to go back at it, had lost 50...then was sick, gained a little with the lack of exercise because of the pheumonia, and then the pancreantitis...but when I am better, my duty is, to BE WELL! to live my life to the FULLEST and YOU CAN DO IT GIRL! there are lots of people who make New Years Resolutions, but fail because it is easy to slip, then you give up altogether, BUT if you set a 10 lb goal...you will get there! 1 lb at a time! I am a huge fan of Biggest Loser too, can relate on sooo many levels, we need to find out WHY we are chosing the wrong comfort foods, when I lost my chunk of weight, there was alot of self discovery that I did...I found what it took to be truely in my zen place. Even 20 minutes day, what a difference! Good luck, we can help eachother, a partner is awesome for support! and to share recipes and encourage! I am there for you bud, for a NEW YOU, a HEALTHY happy you...and to lose weight is just the bonus Ang! keep going, every day is a new day which we are so blessed to have, and to have "1 treat indulge days" here & there can keep you from feeling like you are depriving yourself! (The only thing we are depriving ourselves is happiness and good health) nothing beats a good Purdy's bar!LOL
